AG Jeans

AG Jeans was founded in 2000 in Los Angeles by Adriano Goldschmied and Yul Ku. The brand began producing premium denim, and has since expanded into ready-to-wear and accessories for men and women. Adriano Goldschmied was given the nickname ‘the Godfather of denim’, as the brand became well known for its impeccable quality jeans. AG Jeans has always been dedicated to fine craftsmanship, resulting in trusted and respected products. In 2004, Adriano Goldschmied left the brand, selling his share of the company to Ku, and in 2008, Ku’s son Samuel Ku became Creative Director. Samuel Ku brought a new outlook to the company, and steered it into the direction of a lifestyle brand by introducing new lines of ready-to-wear to accompany the already accredited denim that AG Jeans was known for.

At the centre of AG Jeans is their relentless commitment to sustainability. Through innovative technology and design, the brand is pioneering in this area. Set as a priority, AG Jeans looks for environmentally conscious solutions, through the use of solar energy and a water filtration system which allows the company to operate its business almost completely on recycled water. Tackling environmental issues with understandable seriousness, AG Jeans demonstrates its ability to break new ground, not just in its denim, but in its sustainable approaches to fashion.

Reflecting AG Jeans’ environmentally-minded outlook, their design concept is capsule-driven, focusing on creating ‘investment pieces which have style longevity’. Key to this is their premium finish, with high calibre production which is overseen from start to finish. Their classic style is timeless, seen in their iconic Prima jean, and through various styles from skinny jeans to straight leg to boyfriend fit. AG Jeans designs are versatile, and their wider collection of knitwear, jackets, t-shirts and more sticks to the same memo of sophisticated, effortless chic which can be worn time and time again. The overall concept of AG Jeans is casual clothing which can be dressed up or down to fit beautifully in any modern wardrobe.
AG Jeans has over 15 stores across the USA, and can be accessed online through their website, as well as through House of Fraser, Harrods and My Theresa.
