Bottega Veneta

Founded in 1966 in Italy by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro, Bottega Veneta began crafting with leather, where their iconic leather weaving, ‘Intrecciato’ became instantly successful. The Italian luxury fashion house is now owned by Kering, with Creative Director Daniel Lee maintaining the brand’s reputation for beautifully crafted pieces, working with master artisans very closely. The intrecciato technique is still used to this day, representing the brand’s philosophy which puts excellent construction at the forefront of the design process.

“When your own initials are enough”

Confident in their distinctive artisan techniques, Bottega Veneta prefer their craftsmanship to do the talking, with bold logos never a prominent component of their design. The result is a discreetly luxurious product, promoting individuality and self reliance. The skill is evident in the product, and so it speaks for itself.

Producing lines in ready-to-wear womenswear, menswear, bags, shoes, jewellery, fragrance and accessories, Bottega Veneta is ‘steeped in tradition’. The longevity of design is intentional, and in creating pieces designed to transcend trends and fads, Bottega Veneta stands out in a period of fast fashion and consumption. Minimalism and sophistication run throughout the designs from Bottega Veneta, creating an elegance which lasts. Well cut designs in both womenswear and menswear are a nod to the importance of craftsmanship that the brand stands for. Elegant individuality is communicated through the beautiful design and simplistic approach.
Bottega Veneta have stores located throughout the world, including London, Lisbon, Milan, Zurich, Dubai and Miami. Their collections are available to shop on their website and through retailers Net-a-Porter, Selfridges and Harrods.
