Canada Goose

Established in 1957 by Sam Tick, Canada Goose began under the name of Metro Sportswear Ltd. The company produced outerwear, including raincoats, wool vests and snowsuits. Then, at the start of the 1970’s, the brand began to produce down jackets which became iconic to the brand, and remain so to this day. Metro Sportswear Ltd. became Canada Goose in the 1990’s after expansion throughout Europe and further. The current Creative Director at Canada Goose is Ian Schwey.

All Canada Goose pieces are made exclusively in Canada, with the brand setting up sewing schools in Winnipeg, Montreal, and Toronto. Their logo is seen throughout their coats, jackets and accessories, and depicts a reverse image of the North Pole, also featuring 5 maple leaves to reflect the Canadian roots of the brand.

Canada Goose produces outerwear for men, women and children, as well as accessories for all weathers. Focused on creating high-performance outerwear of the best quality, Canada Goose offers practicality mixed with style. The brand is most well-known for their down jackets, though offers a wide range of styles, including gilets, parkas and bombers.
