Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera founded her eponymous fashion brand in 1981 after encouragement from others in the fashion industry and high-profile socialites who admired Herrera’s personal style. The American-based brand has dressed some of the most influential women in recent history, including Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Michelle Obama, and has become known for its signature style of modern sophistication. Over the years, the label has expanded, adding perfume lines and a diffusion line, CH Carolina Herrera, in 2001. Puig has owned the brand since 1995. In 2018, Carolina Herrera announced her departure from the role of Creative Director after 37 years in this position. Hererra continues as part of the brand in her role as global brand ambassador, with Wes Gordon, who had worked for the brand for some time, taking over as Creative Director

The main Carolina Herrera line produces womenswear, known for elegance and refinement. Chic and classic styles are bold in design yet remain timeless pieces to be worn again and again. Red-carpet-ready evening gowns offer striking details to turn heads, staying interesting and sleek, while straight-leg trousers and structured blazers are wardrobe essentials.

The CH Carolina Herrera line sticks to the same principles of modern glamour and elegance, though offers ranges for men, women and children. Producing everything needed for a daily uniform, the diffusion line creates beautifully constructed pieces such shirts and trousers for men and women, as well as bags and accessories.

With over 15 boutiques throughout the world, Carolina Herrera and CH Carolina Herrera collections can also be found on their respective websites. Clothing, shoes and accessories are available online through My Theresa, Farfetch and Yoox, while Carolina Herrera perfumes are widely available online and in various department stores across the globe.
