Corneliani

Alfredo Corneliani founded his company in 1930 which produced raincoats and other outerwear products. At the outbreak of WW2, the business was put on hold, until Alfredo’s sons set up the Corneliani brand in 1958. The sons, Claudio and Carlalberto, reimagined the brand, and Corneliani began producing luxury menswear. The label has been majority-owned by Investcorp since 2016, and Luigi Ferrando has been Creative Director since 2018.

Corneliani combines a history of first-class Italian tailoring with modern refinement to produce high-end menswear. Each piece is made in Italy through expert craftsmanship, utilising cutting-edge technology to produce the best cuts and fits. Fine fabrics are used throughout each garment, taking supreme blends of silk, wool, linen and cashmere to create a luxurious feel.

Though timeless and elegant, Corneliani remains fresh and innovative. Their ability to adapt with the times while producing polished looks sets Corneliani at such high standing. Their ID jacket was an instant success, combining a formal jacket with outerwear to cater to the more relaxed styles that people wanted. Mixing modern styles with sophisticated codes means that Corneliani has stayed current yet classic. More laid-back styles such as casual polo shirts and tees and soft joggers are available, while smarter styles such as sharply tailored jackets and crisp cotton trousers are also offered. Corneliani produces trainers and derbies, highlighting the range of styles that the brand caters to. With styles for comfortable day-to-day wear, as well as more polished pieces, Corneliani offers everything needed for the modern man. Whether lounging at home or out for the evening, the label designs every piece to exude luxury no matter the occasion.

Corneliani collections can be purchased through the brand’s online store, and through Selfridges, Harrods and Farfetch
