Cult Gaia

Founder and Creative Director Jasmin Larian launched Cult Gaia in 2012. The label is based in Los Angeles, and in its beginnings produced accessories only. Since then, Cult Gaia has grown, now creating womens’ accessories, ready-to-wear and shoes. Inspiration for designs stems from women and nature, with the name of the brand referring to Gaia, the goddess of Mother Earth.

The main principle behind Cult Gaia is to create pieces that are modern heirlooms. Their designs are produced to work as pieces of art, cherished for a lifetime for their beauty and uniqueness and used from season to season. As each Cult Gaia piece is designed as a work of art, each piece is intended to stand-out on its own. This notion has led to the brand becominning well-known for their beautiful and statement accessories which are show-stopping alone. The famous Ark bag by Cult Gaia became a must-have accessory, seen on celebrities and influencers alike. Constructed from bamboo and crescent shaped, the bag is seen as both unusual yet classic. Its whimsical design can be seen throughout Cult Gaia collections, of which all seem to follow a minimalist and offbeat, yet timeless aesthetic.

Cool and easy clothing is produced, designed to work as ‘a canvas’ for the signature accessories from the brand, though the brand’s ready-to-wear is far from plain. With cut-out details and unique fabrics, the brand plays with silhouettes which flatter and offer a high-fashion appeal. Balloon sleeves, wide-leg trousers and drawn in waists create powerful feminine shapes waiting to be accessorised with a statement bag or pair of sculptural heels.

Cult Gaia collections can be accessed through the brand’s online store, and through Net-a-Porter and Farfetch.
