Dior Men

Iconic fashion house Dior was founded by Christian Dior in 1946, revitalising Paris as the fashion capital of the world and introducing revolutionary styles and the ‘New Look’. Over the years, Dior has become one of the most prestigious labels of all time, producing everything from clothing to eyewear to fragrance, under ownership of LVMH

In 2001, Dior Homme was launched as a menswear line under the creative direction of Hedi Slimane. Early collections from the label saw a distinctive, rock n roll aesthetic, later transitioning into a more classic tailored look with a modern edge. When Kim Jones was appointed Creative Director of the luxury menswear line, he renamed the label Dior Men, which it stands as to this day.

Under Kim Jones, Dior Men offers a ‘confident and contemporary maculine silhouette’. Working with heritage house codes, Jones creates sleek and refined pieces with a modern outlook, while also reimagining archive designs such as the iconic saddle bag. Dior Men provides elevated basics for the everyday, such as classic wool trousers and sharp shirts, as well as understated logo tees and elegant suiting. These polished pieces offer undeniable luxury, steeped in the history of the house and its sophisticated codes. At the same time, Kim Jones adds a creative, contemporary feel to Dior Men, collaborating over the years with other influential labels such as Shawn Stussy, 1017 ALYX 9SM and Yoon Ahn. These collaborations have seen the fusion of streetwear with age-honoured luxury, producing vibrant, unexpected pieces featuring graphic prints, playful colour palettes and urban accents. From classic suiting to bandana-printed co-ords, Dior Men remains exciting and innovative with a high-fashion appeal.

Collections from Dior Men can be purchased through the label’s stores and their website, with a selection of pieces also available through Selfridges
