Drake’s

Founded in London in 1977 by Michael Drake, Drake’s is a luxury menswear brand best known for their scarves. Michael Drake wished to produce a ‘relaxed elegance’ through his designs, a principle which remains at the heart of the brand to this day. Keeping this notion strong within the brand is Michael Hill, Creative Director of Drake’s and co-owner of the company, along with Mark Cho.

Originally, Drake’s produced ‘Scarves, Shawls and Plaids’. The brand was renowned for their exceptional use of colour and pattern, which is still maintained today. With new, intricate patterns and rich colourways being added to scarves each season, Drake’s style is inimitable. Their range has expanded since the brand’s beginnings, now producing menswear collections including clothing, accessories and shoes. The Drake’s aesthetic is classic and timeless with a modern edge. With sharp formalwear tailored in Italy, luxurious knitwear made in Scotland and a dedicated shirt factory owned by Drake’s in Somerset, England, the label is committed to exceptional quality in all of their designs. Of course, the ‘relaxed elegance’ of the brand is clear throughout all garments, and Drake’s offers everything for the modern man to fulfil this look. Whether in clean-cut blazers and leather derbies or a laid-back polo shirt and canvas trainers, Drake’s covers all areas of dressing with nonchalant luxury.

Drake’s has stores in London, Paris, New York, Seoul and Tokyo. Their collections can also be purchased online through the brand’s website, with a small selection of their ready-to-wear available through Mr Porter
