Gareth Pugh

British fashion designer Gareth Pugh has been renowned for his avant-garde designs since he graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2003. His Fashion Week debut came in 2005, earning him his reputation for experimental design which would stick with him to this day. This reputation has led Gareth Pugh to dress some of the biggest icons of recent years, including Rihanna, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

Over the years, Gareth Pugh has produced collections which have stirred the fashion world, not only in design but in their presentation at runway shows. Gareth Pugh plays with volume and fabric to produce unexpected and otherworldly silhouettes. Many have described his creations as ‘wearable sculptures’, dramatic and inspiring, featuring sharp edges and exaggerated shapes. His distinctive and artistic aesthetic is inspired by Britain’s club scene, and draws reference from history, goth and punk styles and the streets of London.

Gareth Pugh’s cutting-edge designs are accentuated by his creative and explosive runway shows, highly anticipated for their immersive quality. He continues to produce collections for runways and fashion week, though is not currently offering ready-to-wear available for purchase.
