Georges Hobeika

With a mother who worked as a seamstress, Georges Hobeika wanted to become a fashion designer from a young age. This became a reality in 1995, with the launch of the Georges Hobeika label and the opening of the brand’s first boutique in Beirut. The Lebanese designer quickly gained recognition throughout his country, this soon spreading across the Middle East and North Africa. After the first Georges Hobeika presentation in Paris in 2001, this recognition extended worldwide, with the label becoming known for their feminine and elegant collections. In 2017, Georges Hobeika was awarded guest membership of La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, demonstrating the label’s exceptional design and craftsmanship.

Drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes and shores of Lebanon, Georges Hobeika produces ready-to-wear, bridal and Haute Couture collections. Throughout each collection is a distinctly feminine aesthetic. Ready-to-wear collections offer couture-level detail and elegance, featuring intricate lace, feather and crystal embellishments. Pure opulence is carried throughout gowns and separates, with unexpected twists such as exaggerated silhouettes and a dramatic edge. An ethereal feel is produced from Georges Hobeika creations, appearing beautiful and impressive. From beaded dresses to asymmetric gowns, each design is modern and unique while simultaneously holding onto elements of classic elegance.

Bridal collections and Haute Couture portray the same enchanting spirit, with breathtaking designs full of both interest and beauty. Exquisite details such as hand-woven flowers and handcrafted embroidery adorn almost every design, creating mesmerising works of art inspired by the strength and power of women.

Georges Hobeika stores are located throughout the world, in cities such as Beirut, Qatar and Monaco, where the label’s collections can be accessed.
