British menswear brand, Hackett London, was founded in 1983 by Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings. Beginning his career on Savile Row as a young man, Jeremy Hackett grew an admiration for quintessential British style. To take this fascination and make it into a career, Jeremy opened a small store where he sold clothing he had found at flea markets. Scouring these markets for unique and typically British pieces, Jeremy earned a strong number of customers, all eager to see what the shop had in store on any given day. The shop soon expanded into multiple shops, leaving behind the second-hand clothing and beginning to sell their own Hackett London branded clothing. International expansion came just a few years later, marked by the opening of a branch in Madrid, and from here the growth only continued.
Hackett London is part of the Pepe Jeans Group, which is owned by the M1 Group and L Capital Asia. The Creative Director of the brand today is Matthew Thurston.
Producing clothing, accessories and footwear for men and boys, Hackett London fuses classic British style with a modern edge. Inspired by traditional menswear, Hackett London ready-to-wear offers sharp suiting, crisp shirts and well-tailored outerwear. With styles for the everyday, Hackett London also provides relaxed refinement in slim-fit polo shirts, bomber jackets and essential jeans. Whether looking for day-to-day designs or smart attire, Hackett London remains sophisticated at all times, dressing the modern British gentleman from head to toe.
The Hackett London Savile Row store also offers made-to-measure and bespoke services. A bespoke suit from the brand takes 8 weeks to finish, focusing on creating the best suit to fit the customer’s requirements using expert craftsmanship throughout the process.
