Holzweiler

Holzweiler is an Oslo-based fashion label founded in 2012. The brand is family-run, established by siblings Susanne and Andreas Holzweiler and under the creative direction of Maria Skappel Holzweiler. The label launched with scarves, and this is soon what the brand became known for. Their first collection saw the production of high quality scarves, designed in collaboration with Martin Whatson, a famous Norweigan street artist. Two years later, Holzweiler launched ready-to-wear for men and women, with the aim of creating ‘good fashion that can stand the test of time’.

The Holzweiler aesthetic is cool and contemporary, in-keeping with the brand’s Scandinavian roots. Basic pieces are reimagined with a modern and innovative outlook, seen in sleek outerwear and chunky knitwear. Neutral palettes are pierced with pops of brights, and staple items are given sculptural or textural twists. Oversize fits from dresses to sweaters create a laid-back appeal while ribbed tops and crisp shirts are versatile pieces for the everyday. Holzweiler collections are wearable and stylish with an effortlessly fashionable appeal.

Hanger by Holzweiler features youthful designs full of colour and vibrancy, produced to promote positivity and inclusivity. All designs are fully genderless, featuring the same cool, Scandi-style of the wider collections. Hanger offers t-shirts, sweatpants, accessories and more, all decorated with the minimalist Hanger logo.

Holzweiler has stores in Oslo and Bergen, and is stocked on the brand’s website as well as Net-a-Porter, Liberty and Selfridges
