Johan Lindeberg founded J. Lindeburg in 1996 with the aim of merging sport and fashion. The Swedish designer had always been interested in sport and decided to fuse this interest with his expertise in high fashion. This merging of styles was extremely successful, and the brand has expanded to encompass menswear and womenswear, available across the world. J. Lindeberg is owned by Anders Holch Povlsen, Dan Friis, Allan Warburg and Stefan Engström
