Korean DJ, Peggy Gou, founded her womenswear label, Kirin, in 2019. Meaning ‘giraffe’ in Korean, Kirin draws influence from the music that Gou creates and the clothes that she herself enjoys. The label is part of the New Guards Group.
Kirin produces streetwear-inspired designs which are contemporary and energetic. Never shying away from the bold, the label mixes contrasting colours with loud prints whilst often also playing with texture. Influenced by club culture, each piece is brazen and youthful, with collections featuring striking logos and playful giraffe iconography. Printed sweaters, graphic tees and monogrammed jeans bring a high-end streetwear style to the everyday, while faux fur bucket hats, sequinned jackets and glow-in-the-dark sweatpants offer statement pieces for those looking to stand out. Kirin is lively and fun, creating high-octane looks which elevate any streetwear style. From oversized scarves to backless scuba dresses, Kirin provides modern and unexpected choices for every occasion.
Collections from Kirin can be found online through Farfetch and Flannels.
