Les Rêveries was founded by sisters Wayne Lee and Ai Ly in 2018. The womenswear label is based in New York and its title translates to ‘the musings’, reflective of the whimsical aesthetic of the brand. The sibling duo decided to create their own fashion label after having difficulty finding the perfect going-out dresses and wishing to remedy this themselves. Les Rêveries is a part of Net-a-Porter’s Vanguard program, which seeks and supports new fashion talent, and so their collections are currently exclusive to the online retailer.
Inspired by art, music and poetry, Les Rêveries is consistently romantic and feminine. The label is known for their flirty, floral prints which adorn dresses, blouses and camis alike. Subtle detailing such as ruffles, pleats and puff sleeves further the femininity of Les Rêveries time and time again. Backless silk gowns and lace maxi-dresses are sophisticated and elegant, met with more wearable pieces for the everyday, such as poplin mini dresses and ruched cotton blouses.
