M. J. Bale is known for their tailoring of integrity, placing strong emphasis on ethical and sustainable practice, as well as impeccable cut and finish. Producing ready-to-wear collections as well as made-to-order and custom designs, M. J. Bale is committed to using fabrics with traceable origins. From here, suiting, shirts, casualwear and accessories are offered, creating classic styles with a modern edge. Using natural fibres throughout collections, the brand is renowned for their work with Australian merino wool. The Kingston farm in Tasmania works hard to ensure conservation and ethical processes throughout their farming. Working closely with M. J. Bale, Kingston produces merino wool of the finest standards in a sustainable and fair manner.

Aside from ready-to-wear, M. J. Bale provides made-to-measure services which take around 4 weeks to complete. With exceptional tailoring guaranteed but at a lower price-point than custom designs, made-to-measure services offer an impeccable fit. Custom orders take around 6 weeks for completion, and are the result of over 50 hours of skilled workmanship. Custom designs are meticulously crafted in Iwate, Japan, where M. J. Bale has its own workshop specifically catering to these custom orders. For the ultimate luxury and the highest quality of finishes, custom designs from M. J. Bale are refined and opulent.

With over 50 stores found throughout Australia, M. J. Bale can also be accessed online through the label’s own site.
