Melissa Odabash founded her namesake swimwear label in 1999 after having worked as a swimwear model and noticing a lack of styles that she personally wanted to wear. With this, Melissa looked to launch her own range of swimwear, leading to a small capsule collection produced and sold in Italy, where the founder was based at the time. From here, the brand grew and began to incorporate beachwear, with bikinis and kaftans worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Sienna Miller over the years. Melissa Odabash produces swimwear, beachwear and accessories for women, as well as a range for children.
