MM6 Maison Margiela

MM6 Maison Margiela is a diffusion line of Maison Margiela, the French luxury fashion house, founded in 1988 by Martin Margiela. The avant-garde nature of Maison Margiela is replaced by a contemporary street-inspired aesthetic in MM6 Maison Margiela, which launched in 1997. MM6 is part of the OTB group, and with John Galliano as creative director of the original brand, MM6 Maison Margiela is designed by an anonymous collective.

A modern take on everyday essentials, MM6 Maison Margiela makes the casual interesting. This sister-brand produces ready-to-wear for men and women, as well as bags, shoes and accessories. With a monochromatic palette, exaggerated proportions and unique fabrics, the collections are wearable yet luxurious. A relaxed and effortless aesthetic is created through oversize cuts, clashing textures and graphic prints. Easy to wear jumpers, sweaters and shirts are met with unique bags in stylish shapes and unisex jewellery in silver and gold. MM6 Maison Margiela provides wardrobe classics which have been reinvented to be simultaneously forward-thinking and understated.

MM6 x The North Face launched in 2020, reinventing the signature The North Face styles to blend the functionality of these staples with the innovative design techniques of MM6. New silhouettes are seen in round-shaped jackets, parkas and fleeces, creating almost futuristic pieces in-line with MM6 Maison Margiela’s modern visions.

Found online at Net-a-Porter, Farfetch and My Theresa, MM6 is also found on the wider Maison Margiela website, as well as Maison Margiela boutiques in cities such as London, Paris and Beverly Hills.
