Paule Ka

Founded in 1988 by Serge Cajfinger, Paule Ka is a French luxury womenswear label. The founder was inspired to recreate the glamorous styles of the 1950’s and ‘60’s with a modern approach, drawing inspiration from icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Reinterpreting these classic styles, Paule Ka became known for their sophisticated designs which offered a signature Parisian elegance. Today, the brand is owned by Xavier Marie, and, under the creative direction of Maxime Simoëns, each collection is crafted in the brand’s own workshops in Rue Saint Honoré.

The Paule Ka aesthetic is classic and feminine, utilising lady-like silhouettes and subtle detailing to create timeless collections again and again. The brand exudes sophistication, known for their skirt suit, black dresses and use of bows throughout designs. These refined styles symbolise Paule Ka, met with chic separates, cashmere cardigans and polished tweed coats. Understated designs are impactful through their precise cuts and feminine details, such as ruffles, pleats and buttons. Paule Ka keeps things simple, rarely utilising pattern and instead working with calm colour palettes of neutral and fresh, light hues. Each piece feels versatile and luxurious, impeccably crafted and designed to work in a wardrobe for a lifetime. Whether looking for powerful suits or relaxed sweaters, Paule Ka provides everything needed for a modern yet refined look.

Paule Ka has stores in Brussels, Paris and Warsaw, and their designs can be accessed online through the label’s website and via Farfetch
