Sergio Rossi

With a father who was a shoemaker, Sergio Rossi learnt the traditions of the trade at a very young age, taking these skills with him when he first began his own namesake company in 1951. The Italian brand began with Rossi working through the winter, producing sandals which he would then sell in the summer at the beaches of Rimini and to small boutiques. One of his designs proved particularly popular, allowing production to expand and earning the brand recognition across the country. Sergio Rossi became known for their use of vibrant colour and geometric prints, and throughout the 1970’s the label collaborated with some of the biggest names in fashion including Versace and Azzedine Alaïa. The 1980’s saw international expansion and Sergio Rossi was soon world-renowned for their impeccable craftsmanship and feminine design. Sergio Rossi was recently acquired by the Fosun Fashion Group

Producing women’s footwear of the highest quality, Sergio Rossi offers styles for every occasion, from heels and sandals to boots and trainers. Each pair of shoes takes around 120 steps and 14 hours to complete, handcrafted to the finest standards in Italy. Signature to the label, beautiful colour palettes and prints are seen throughout collections- from pretty pastel shades and delicate houndstooth patterns to daring brights and snakeskin print. Classic and elegant shapes are offered, accented with embellished buckles and crystal details, while other styles have an unexpected, sculptural edge. Delicate sequin heels, elegant textured sliders and chunky trainers represent the diversity of the brand. From timeless nude slingbacks to statement fringed wedges, Sergio Rossi designs transcend trends and will be worn from season to season.
