Stuart Weitzman

Stuart Weitzman is an eponymous luxury footwear label for women, founded in 1986 and based in New York. Stuart’s father and uncle, Seymour and Warren Weitzman founded a shoe factory in the 1950’s, named Seymour Shoes. In the ‘60’s, Stuart began designing shoes for the company, and in later years he helped to run the business. With his experience in footwear beginning at a young age, Stuart Weitzman set up his own namesake label in 1986, which has now become an internationally recognised brand, known for exquisite designs and craftsmanship, adored from the red carpet to the everyday. Today, Stuart Weitzman is owned by Tapestry
