Versace

Versace was founded by Gianni Versace in 1978, and has become a world-renowned luxury fashion house. The Italian brand is recognised and celebrated for its no holds barred approach to fashion, mixing bright prints with patterns in the most luxurious of ways. Over the years, Versace has designed iconic outfits for some of the biggest names, including Elton John, Jennifer Lopez and Elizabeth Hurley. Since 1997, Donatella Versace, Gianni’s sister has been Creative Director of the brand, and in 2019, Versace joined Capri Holdings Ltd

Designing ready-to-wear for men, women and children, plus bags, jewellery, fragrances and accessories, Versace represents bold glamour. Their fearless designs are maximalist and enticing, featuring animal prints, baroque prints and bright tones throughout. Gold details are classic Versace, with chunky jewellery and statement bags in abundance. Loud logos and the iconic medusa motif are emblazoned on t-shirts, accessories and bags. Knitwear and trousers can be found in every colour, while cocktail dresses provide perfect party-wear. Inspiration is drawn from vintage and Mediteranean styles, culminating in audacious luxury. While relentless in style and brazen design, Versace pieces are beautifully tailored and crafted to perfection.

The recent Spring 2021 collection epitomises Versace in its stunning use of colour and print. An under-the-sea theme is offered, with clashing colours and ocean inspired designs. The Trésor de la Mer print is used across pieces from trousers to shorts to dresses. Featuring starfish and shells, the nostalgic design is beautiful and uplifting.

With over 200 boutiques located across the world, Versace can also be found on their own website, as well as through Farfetch, Selfridges and Net-a-Porter. Versace perfumes are more widely available, found in many department stores.
